Licensed data teaches AI models real-world skills, such as reading code, understanding speech or spotting a defect in a scan. This is the path it takes, and every step is written into your licence.

    You set the use

    The licence names exactly what's allowed: pre-training, fine-tuning, evaluation or a mix. Nothing outside it is permitted.

  2. 02

    Prepared and cleaned

    Personal data, and anything you mark as sensitive, is removed or de-identified before anything leaves your systems.

  3. 03

    Secure delivery

    Encrypted transfer into an approved, access-controlled environment. Every access is logged.

  4. 04

    The model learns

    The data teaches a model patterns and skills. The licence bans publishing, reselling or showing your files to end users, and requires safeguards so the model doesn't repeat them word for word.

  5. 05

    Deleted at term end

    Within 30 days of the licence ending, every copy is deleted, with backups cleared on rotation. You receive a signed deletion certificate.

Do we give up ownership of our data?
No. You license specific rights, for a specific use and a set term. Title stays with you, and the licence ends with certified deletion.
What will our data actually be used for?
Only the uses you approve in the licence, such as training, fine-tuning or evaluating AI models. The licence bans resale, publication and any attempt to identify people. See the five steps your data goes through.
What happens before we share anything?
A short call about the kind of data you hold, with no specifics. Then a mutual NDA. Only after that do we ask for a small sample, and personal data is removed from it first.
How is a licence priced?
By how unique the data is, how much there is, how clean the rights are, how exclusive the deal is and how it will be used. We give you a written view after the sample stage. We don’t put a figure on a homepage because every dataset is different.
Do we get a say in how our data is used?
Yes. You approve every licence and every permitted use before anything is signed, and you can exclude competitors or whole categories of use.
Who do we deal with day to day?
Liciva, from first call to final payment. We handle the negotiation, paperwork, delivery and compliance, and we never reveal your company as the source of the data without your OK.
What if our data contains personal information?
The rights check covers it. We confirm the legal basis, how de-identification was done and whether it holds up. If it can’t be cleared, it isn’t licensed.
