Privacy notice
DraftThis notice is a working draft pending legal review. It describes what the site actually does today and will be updated when counsel has reviewed it.
What this covers
This notice covers the website at liciva.com and the two enquiry forms on it (for data owners and for AI teams). It does not cover anything exchanged later under an NDA; that is governed by the NDA itself.
What we collect
- What you type into a form: your name, work email, company or organisation, the kind of data or intended use you pick, and your message.
- Technical details recorded with the submission: the time, your browser's user-agent string, the page you submitted from, any campaign tags in the link you arrived by (UTM parameters) and the referring page.
- A hashed form of your IP address. We store a salted, one-way hash of the address, not the address itself. It exists only so we can throttle repeated submissions from one network and spot spam.
The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. The only client-side storage is a session-scoped note of campaign tags, cleared when you close the tab.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored in a database on a server we operate. They are not sent to a third-party form or CRM service by default. If we switch on an email or webhook notification so that a named person sees new enquiries promptly, the same details are sent to that destination and nowhere else.
What we use it for
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a confidential call.
- To keep a record of who contacted us and why, so follow-ups make sense.
- To prevent abuse of the forms.
We do not sell this information, trade it, or use it for advertising. We do not add you to a newsletter. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to a request you made to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Ask and we will delete yours.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email [email protected] and a named person will reply. Depending on where you are, you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
Please don't send confidential material through the forms
The forms are for a first contact only. Nothing confidential should be sent until a mutual NDA is signed, and we will never ask for data samples, credentials or customer information by web form.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
